Formed in 1996, Admiral Twin has released five CDs to date, including 2000’s critically praised Mock Heroic on Mojo/Universal Records. (Unfortunately for the band, Mock Heroic was released just months before the demise of the record label. Ouch.) Since 1998, the band has performed for well over 500,000 concert-goers all across North America...usually mostly clothed. Unsigned and completely independent, Admiral Twin is currently working on their next CD which (they're absolutely sure) will be utterly ignored by American radio programmers just like everything else the band has ever done. Ever.
Admiral Twin’s latest CD, Creatures of Bread & Wine, once again showcases this Oklahoma-based pop-rock trio’s amazing knack for consistently catchy, intelligent songwriting, as well as rock solid musicianship, stellar harmonies, and the wildly inappropriate use of small farm animals for interesting "sound textures." Their 12-track release is "a spirited blast of freshly honed pop that is witty and multi-faceted," says Bruce Brodeen of Not Lame Records...who was not paid off in any way whatsoever--with drugs, illicit women, or a life-size Robin Gibb cutout cardboard display--to say nice things about the band.
