Hi and welcomeI am 23 year old girl from Edinburgh where I also studied (such a cool place). I love to sing anywhere I can and have been working over the last year on my own original material, I'll put new tracks up from time to time so please chack back. At the moment I teach in Primary Education although my main passions has always been in music. During uni I did lots of singing competitions and I am now doing open mic nights reguarly to try out my material, so if you are in the neighbourhood and fancy a good night out, please come down and give some support to another hard working artist :-). My focus just now is on songwriting and to try out a variety of musical styles. I am determined to build my singing into a full time career and look forward to all the challenges that lie ahead! In my spare time I like to go out in Edinburgh and Glasgow, go to the gym, dance classes and kickboxing. My friends would describe me as bright and bubbly, up for a giggle and dedicated. I have done loads of open mics in and around Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as wining local and national singing competitions, so you may have seen me around. Winning the following competitions have allowed me to have time in a recording studio, money for equipment, radio broadcasting of my performances and a slot in the Edinburgh Festival. McEwans Talent Search Winner 2003 Chicago Rock Idol 2005 Scottish Champion River FM Road to Stardom 2006 Winner Second away in my mind I co-wrote. Hope you like it. Open Mic nights will be the main gigs in the up and coming months and slots around Edinburgh and West Lothian. I'll put some dates up as soon as I have them Love, Carol x
