Obsidian Lux writes and records his own music at his home studio in Jacksonville,Fl. The style of music is guitar centered loop based instrumental avant rock. I''ve played in various touring and non-touring bands from Cincinnati,Oh., to Charlotte, N.C., and elsewhere. I currently reside in Jacksonville, Fl. My musicial influences include: Hendrix, King Crimson, Zappa, and tool, for starters. Perhaps too many to name. use Fernandes guitars, one fretless, both have the sustainer installed., The Godin Glissentar, a Digitech Whammy pedal, the Digitech studio 400,the Digitech ips-33b,the Electrix repeater, a Roland sp-808 sampler,a roland gr-30 guitar synth,a Line-6 P.O.D., the Boss DR-770 drum machine, and a cheap bass. Everything is recorded on a Tascam 788 digital recorder.
