Sarah Micol is a talented and young singer/ songwriter from Italy. She has collaborated with Gnometto Band and Guido Guglielminetti, a famous italian producer. She has been working on her own since 2004.She started playing drums when she was 4. At the age of 6 she started playing piano. She first performed in public when she was 18. After that she performed with several local jazz band. In 1998, while she was still going to the college, she won a national singing contest, but she preferred to focus on school and get a degree. In 1999 she moved to England and then to Salzburg. In 2000 she started working as a touristic entertainer. A great school for performers! In 2002 she worked for an important tv program as a singer. In 2003 she went to Perugia for the Berklee Clinics during Umbria Jazz: she attended a vocal technique class with Donna McElroy and an improv class with Steve Prosser. She has been chosen to perform live with her professors and then with Bobby McFerrin.
