Starsixteen writes music that is a blend of Electronic and Organic sounds fused against poetry somewhere between Leonard Cohen and Charles Bukowski. The topics vary from the point of view of a homeless schizophrenic to offering a dying love a sexual relationship rather than a romantic one. Along with pieces of questionable lyrical content he writes a number of drug enduced instrumentals that were written with trippers in mind. Along with music, he has had a number of poems published and hopes that the listeners will be open minded enough to give these pieces a listen to. Starsixteen was born and raised near Seattle and has played with a number of bands throughout the rise and eventual decline of the Seattle music scene and while others moved away he stayed if only because Seattle is his home. Starsixteen has been uploading music online for the last five years on various sites that have come and gone.(MP3.com, as an example) and will continue to do so just as long as there are sites like this that are willling to support the indie musician. Anyway, I am thinking that this is well past the mininum amount of characters needed to continue to the next page, so if anyone has questions, comments, etc, just send me a line.
