gus tisdale is a classical/jazz guitarist and composer from baltimore maryland. no relation to wayman. he has recorded vocal compositions in popular and jazz styles but has a penchant for simple classical guitar.gus still plays the martin n20 he bought in 1974. he has no formal musical training and has never been a performer. his playing style is pragmatic and attempts to convey the salient points of the composition, his real interest, without a lot of flash or conspicuous technique.
